• BIGGER INSTRUMENT SCREEN: Everything about this ATV is top-of-the-line, including a new instrument display. It’s bigger and easier to read too. We’ve added a tachometer display and changed the background color for better visibility in direct sunlight.
• MORE INTEGRATED STORAGE: We’ve kept the original 5.2-liter utility storage box, and added an additional 1.8-liter storage pocket that’s easy to access. They’re perfect for storing things like tools, ratchet straps, goggles and gloves, and much more.
• LED HANDLEBAR HEADLIGHT: This new, handlebar-mounted LED light is a big boost in illumination. Plus, since it moves with the handlebar, helps you see more.
• ELECTRICAL OUTPUT: Thanks to the neodymium-magnet stator design, the powerful ACG produces sufficient amount of electricity to run accessories.
• ELECTRIC AND RECOIL STARTING: The Rubicon’s electric starting is proven and bombproof, but just in case we’ve given it pull-type recoil starter so you’ll never have to worry about a dead battery when you’re out exploring miles from the truck.

Engineering

• AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION MODE: New for 2024, the Auto Mode Manual Override feature now lets you shift up and down while you’re in “Auto” mode, giving you even more control and convenience than before.
• FRONT AND REAR RACKS: New racks can carrier heavier loads this year: the front is rated for up to 99 pounds, and the rear 187 pounds. That’s a 50-percent and 42-percent increase respectively! Plus both racks now feature our super-convenient Honda Pro-Connect system. This lets you add accessories like front and rear utility baskets or our 28-liter front cargo box fast, and without tools. It’s plug-and-play!
• TOUGHER FRONT BUMPER: Here’s one that’s easy to see: Our new, bigger front bumper offers more coverage and additional headlight and brush protection. It also gives this ATV a more aggressive look.
• CATALYTIC CONVERTER: Cars and trucks have had them for decades now—and the Rubicon features one as well. People who work outdoors or who enjoy nature know you need to protect the planet—and the Rubicon is doing its part.
• ELECTRIC SHIFT PROGRAM (ESP): Upshifting or downshifting is easy and fast—just push one of two handlebar-mounted buttons. Because you don’t have to fuss with a conventional left-foot shift lever, ESP is a huge advantage when riding in heavy boots or if your boots are covered in mud or snow.

Handling

• INDEPENDENT REAR SUSPENSION (IRS): The Rubicon’s Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) offers two big advantages: First, it helps ensure constant tire contact with the ground for superior traction; second, it gives you an ultra-smooth ride over rough terrain, so you don't get beat up on the trail.
• LARGER 26-INCH TIRES: New, bigger 26-inch tires feature a more aggressive tread pattern for better traction and improved ground clearance.
• CAST-ALUMINUM WHEELS: Along with the new 26-inch tires, you get new cast-aluminum wheels that are light weight, strong, and add to your off-road style.

Performance

• SEMI-DRY-SUMP ENGINE DESIGN: Compact and lighter-weight, the Rubicon’s overhead-valve, semi-dry-sump design creates an engine that's shorter from top to bottom. That returns two big benefits: it enhances handling by lowering the engine's center of gravity, and it also allows for greater ground clearance.
• LONGITUDINAL ENGINE LAYOUT: By orienting the crankshaft front to back in the chassis in our ATV and side-by-side engines, we route the flow of power straight to the wheels without any unnecessary right-angle detours, reducing powertrain friction and putting more grunt to the ground.
• DUAL-PLUG HEAD: Using two spark plugs that fire together helps ensure clean, fast, thorough combustion. It’s a win-win situation: the engine runs cleaner, with greater fuel-efficiency and range.
• LIQUID COOLING: Liquid cooling just makes sense on an ATV like this. You get more power, longer engine life, quicker warmups in cold weather, and cooler engine temperatures in hot weather. It’s a win-win-win-win situation.
• PROGRAMMED FUEL INJECTION (PGM-FI): The Rubicon’s Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) and 40mm throttle body deliver crisp, seamless performance while ensuring hassle-free operation in cold conditions and varying altitudes.
